How IPL Skin Therapy Works:
- Preparation: The skin is cleaned, and a cooling gel is applied to the treatment area.
- Treatment: The IPL device is placed onto the skin, emitting pulses of light.
- Aftercare: Clients usually experience very little to no downtime with this treatment. However some may experience redness or swelling, which usually subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. Sun protection with a broad-spectrum SPF is crucial post-treatment. 4-8 treatments required depending on skin condition. Appropriate interval between treatments - 3-4 weeks

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural wound healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production, which can help improve the appearance of the skin.

Boost collagen and elastin production, firm and tighten skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Improve skin texture and tone, minimise pores and even complexion. Reduce Acne scars and hyperpigmentation, improve product absorption for enhanced results

Recovery: The recovery time is relatively short. You might experience redness and mild swelling for a few days following the treatment, similar to a mild sunburn.

Sessions: Multiple sessions are often needed to achieve the desired results, typically spaced a 4-6 weeks apart.

Aftercare: There is little downtime post needling, though I do recommend a gentle skincare regime and the use of a broad spectrum SPF daily. I will give full instruction and a homecare kit to help heal and protect the skin for 48 hours post treatment in Clinic.

Home Devices: There are also at-home microneedling devices available, but they usually have shorter needles and provide less dramatic results compared to professional treatments. I do sell a home device in clinic which can be used in between treatments to help with product absorption and skin tightening etc.
